Hi all – I am Szavanna and here is a blog all about OpenCafe in SL.

I’m happy to let you know that our little initiative has its own Second Life

The SL cafe is located on the Non-profit commons together with other great initiatives that are worth checking out. If you have a nonprofit project – you can also apply for free space there – let me know if you need more info. Here is a few shots of the SL Cafe – though it is always chaning as I carry on learning more building skills – if you’d like to help with building tasks – please contact me!

Click to get the SLURL to the cafe – I am looking forward to your visits & suggestions. This cafe is just an extension of the RL cafe and has similar goals – sharing skills, information, so come and soon you will find lots of free stuff that you can just take&modify&share with your friends.

The SL cafe’s program will entirely depend on its visitors suggestions and interests – we plan to put together a databse of open resources, open projects and also be a meeting place for all those interested in Africa-related topics. We hope to unite all those interested in taking part and building the cafe with us.

• You are welcome to just walk by and get some info or all the free things that we will have here,
• You can also get support if you need advice with using SL, with your basic building projects
• you can also contribute with your donations if you like the projects we are busy with,
• you can send us info that will add to our open database,
• or you can even be one of those creating the material for these databases.
